Nissan Z Gets Alpha 5 Makeover by AMS - Turnkey 500 HP DSG Performance Mod Blog

The Nissan Z was easily one of the most anticipated cars of 2023. This beast is outfitted with a twin-turbocharged V-6. But, instead of the 565-hp 3.8-liter that’s under the hood of the GT-R, the Z gets a 400-hp 3.0-liter mill from the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 paired to either a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic. When we started seeing on the street, we admit, we started getting real excited to see what brands in the aftermarket would cook up.

Where Did AMS Come In?

AMS was one of the first on the scene and for a very specific reason. As we mentioend above, the new Z has the 400hp engine from the Infiniti Q60, AMS does only have a ton of experience with this car, but actually aims to one day become the modifying arm of Infiniti. So it's not wonder they were ready to roll real quick. In addition to all the parts they came out with, they gave this reincarnated Z a performance makeover, courtesy of their Alpha 5 Z Performance Package.

What is The Alpha 5 Performance Package?

The Alpha 5 consists of a laundry list of key parts to take your Z from 0-100 real quick. The list includes Cold Air Intakes, Heat Exchanger, VR30DDTT Race Lower Downpipes, VR30DDTT Stage 1 High Pressure Fuel Pump, VR30DDTT Low Pressure Fuel Pump, Flex Fuel Kit, VR30DDTT High Pressure Fuel Sensor. What does this list get you?

To name a few, 500 horsepower, flex fuel enabled, 130 WHP over stock, 10 second quarter mile, enhanced cooling efficiency and dramatically increased air efficiency.
