HRE - The FlowForm Kings

HRE-The FlowForm Kings DSG Performance

If you've heard of FlowForm wheels, chances are, you've heard of HRE. Starting originally in Forged wheels, HRE has become synonymous with their everyman's line of FlowForm wheels. Simply put, they've mastered the technology.

Before we get into what HRE does with this type of wheel, let's dive into the technology itself.

FlowForm wheels are cast designs stretched to a flow formed profile and thickness resulting in forged-like strength at a more accessible price point. That may be simplest explanation we've got! Essentially, it lets you get as close to a Forged wheel as possible without breaking the bank.

The production process involves the application of pressure to the inner barrel of the wheel, while spinning and after it has been casted. This process stretches and compresses the aluminum, which increases tensile strength.

The result is a wheel that is both strong and more affordable comparatively to their Forged counterparts. For this reason, FlowForm wheels have become increasingly popular through the years.

HRE is a very big brand that has invested heavily in making FlowForm technology a staple of their product offering. They've been at it for years and offer a variety of HRE specific benefits including a lifetime warranty, Euro, Asian and Domestic fitments, TÜV and JWL certification and a very large variety of custom colors if the Tarmac or Liquid Silver colors don't quite do it for you. They also have a large variety of designs, most popular of which include the FF10, FF01, FF21 and the now popular offroad specific series, the FT1.

DSG has been an authorized HRE dealer for more years than we can count and from production to delivery, we can say with confidence that these guys do it right.
