Description

Type-TS carbon fiber heat extraction hood for 2005 - 2013 Chevrolet Corvette C6

Features:

  • Metal mesh screens are removable and paintable
  • Mounts with OE hardware, hinges and latch
  • Latch bracket (u bolt) will need to be transferred from OE hood
  • Location for hood latches may be required to be modified.
  • Hood pins required for safety reasons - Aero Catch or Quic-Latch
  • Heat shield required
  • Always carefully close a composite hood. Slamming or dropping the hood may cause it to crack.
  • Anderson Composites does not suggest re-installing gas shocks/dampers/struts
  • The use of a hood prop rod is highly recommended
