SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Making sure our customers get their products in a fast, timely and effective manner is one of the most important focuses here at DSG Performance. Being an international brand with clients all over the world, we take the business of getting your items to you seriously.

Shipping lead times, methods and free shipping thresholds may differ by country you are shopping from so please make sure to review the relevant information on this page below.

UNITED STATES

Except when otherwise noted, all our orders shipping to our USA customers ship from within the USA via our of our dedicated shipping partners for a fast and painless delivery experience. DSG Performance ships from one of many warehouses to ensure that in-stock items reach you in as few business days as possible. 

FAST FREE & INSURED SHIPPING*

Free ground shipping is available within the lower 48 states for orders totaling $200 or more*. To receive free ground shipping, simply select the free shipping option during checkout. Even though expedited shipping is not free we will still discount the free shipping option from the expedited shipping cost for you. This offer excludes shipments going to Alaska, Hawaii, Military PO Boxes (APO), Puerto Rico and items too large to ship via UPS or USPS. Examples of oversized and/or freight items would be engine blocks, bodykits, large package exhausts, etc.

All shipping methods are sent fully insured, and with signature required in order to ensure your packages protection.

TRANSIT & TURNAROUND TIMES

The delivery time of your package primarily depends on the shipping carrier and the type of service selected and its inventory status. When selecting the shipping method for your package, please keep in mind that most carriers do not work on weekends or major holidays. When carriers quote shipping days, they are referring to business days. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, with the exception of recognized holidays observed by the selected parcel carrier. For specific delivery estimates, you can usually find detailed information on the carrier’s website or you can also contact one of our customer service representatives for specific details. As a general rule, UPS who is our primary carrier, transit times are as follows:

  • Next Day Air - Transit time of 1 Business Day
  • 2nd Day Air - Transit time of 2 Business Days
  • Premium 3-Day Service - Transit time of 3-5 Business Days
  • Ground - Transit time of 5-7 Business Days

Delivery time estimates do not account for processing time, or out of stock items. Some items which are drop shipped may require processing time before shipping even if they are in stock. Transit time only counts for time in actual transit, from the point of the package being picked up and delivered to your door. DSG Performance makes every effort to adhere to the transit times in the shipping method requested such as expedited services and if a possible delay is known, we will do our best to communicate this to you. Items which are purchased with an expedited shipping method selected but are out of stock, will ship with the chosen method once they are back in stock and shipped to you. 

If your order has delivery date urgency, please contact us prior to placing your order to verify delivery time or make a request for us to verify for you in the comments section when placing your order.

The majority of orders containing items listed as “In Stock” will ship the same day if placed on a weekday before 2pm CT (3pm ET/ 1pm MT/ 12pm PT). Orders requiring additional verification (security concerns, incorrect information, etc.) may need additional processing time. Items listed as “On Order”, “Out of Stock” or "Special Order" typically ship by the estimated ship date listed on the product page. These estimated dates are not guaranteed and are subject to change periodically. Our customer service representatives monitor backorders on a daily basis to ensure your order ships as soon as possible.

APO / PO BOX SHIPMENTS

Most carriers such as UPS & FedEx will not deliver to an APO or PO Box address. Shipments going to an APO or PO Box will need to select USPS as the shipping carrier during checkout. Please be aware that the United States Postal Service (USPS) has size restrictions on shipments going to APO’s and PO Boxes. If you have added a large item to your Shopping Cart and are unable to select USPS as the carrier, or if you are simply unsure if the package is probably too large to ship to your postal box then please contact one of our customer service representatives to assist you with your order. DSG Performance makes every effort to verify orders shipping to APO or PO Box addresses to prevent issues, however if you choose to have your APO or PO Box shipment sent via a different carrier, we suggest verifying the delivery possibilities with that carrier before placing the order. If a package is deemed undeliverable by a carrier that cannot delivered parcels to your post office box or APO the buyer will be responsible for all freight charges and fees associated with the shipment.

CANADA

Except when otherwise noted, all orders shipping to our Canadian customers ship from within Canada, from our warehouse located in Montreal via one of our dedicated shipping partners for a fast and painless delivery experience.

Free ground shipping is available to our Canadian customers for orders totaling $500 or more*. To receive free ground shipping, simply select the free shipping option during checkout. Even though expedited shipping is not free we will still discount the free shipping option from the expedited shipping cost for you. This offer excludes shipments going to The Northwest Territories, Nunuvat, Yukon and select rural or hard to get to regions. Additionally, items too large to ship via "small parcel" such as UPS or Canada Post do not qualify for free shipping. Examples of oversized and/or freight items would be engine blocks, bodykits, large package exhausts, etc.

TURNAROUND TIME

Items listed as in-stock may not indicate the inventory is available in Canada. DSG Performance's inventory spans multiple locations and is primarily held within the USA. We receive regular bi-weekly shipments from our USA Warehouse (every 2 weeks), bringing in items which have been ordered or to restock select items within Canada. When your order is placed with us, if the item is not in-stock at our Canadian warehouse it will be brought in with the closest available shipment from our USA Warehouse, based on its availability. You will be notified of an approximate ETA to ship from our Montreal warehouse once your order has been placed. 

An order that has shipped from our location, is in transit from the USA or from a supplier can not be cancelled, these would require being classified as a return. Special order and custom built items are not eligible for returns or cancellations and will follow our special order policies. Please make sure to verify all details of your order and our updates to you post purchase.

If your order has delivery date urgency, please contact us prior to placing your order to verify delivery time or make a request for us to verify for you in the comments section when placing your order.

CUSTOMS FEES AND DUTIES

A true domestic shopping experience for the automotive enthusiast. Canadian customers WILL NOT be subject to duties, brokerages or other unexpected fees when purchasing with DSG Performance. Since the majority of our orders ship from our Montreal warehouse, your items are shipping domestically and not cross border and therefore are not subject to any additional fees. Customers can shop and rest assured that the pricing listed on the website is all that they are paying with no hidden surprises.

In rare instances where items ship cross border or from the manufacturer overseas, DSG Performance handles all customs clearance into Canada on behalf of our customers. You will not pay any additional fees on your order. In the unlikely event that you receive a notice from the shipping carrier related to paying duties or customs fees, or a delivery is arriving with customs fees due, please refuse the delivery please and immediately contact our customer support team to assist you with your shipment. Do not pay any fees without prior advisement from a member of our team, as any paid fees will not be refunded. 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

DSG Performance ships packages all over the globe. If you would like to see an estimated cost of shipping an item(s) internationally, simply add the desired item(s) to your Shopping Cart and use the "Calculate Shipping" feature. Please remember these shipping charges do not include any duties, customs charges, or brokerage fees that may accompany your shipment; all importation fees assessed by the shipping carrier, local or national governments are the buyer’s responsibility and will not be paid or reimbursed by DSG Performance. By law, DSG Performance is required to list all package contents at the actual purchase price. If a package is refused rather than pay any importation fees, DSG Performance reserves the right to deduct the cost of the return shipment, including customs clearance charges, from your product refund or abandon the package with no refund when the cost of return shipping is more than the original order. Large volume orders or ones which contain oversized items may require off-site shipping quotes to be generated by our customer support team. If you are overseas and intend on making a larger purchase, you can feel free to contact us to assist you in placing your order.

OUT OF STOCK ITEMS 

Some items may not be in stock or are considered special order. In these instances, we will ship your product as soon as it becomes available. There may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock which will delay shipment of your order. We will do our best to keep you informed of any products that you have purchased that are out of stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. In the instance an item is out of stock and you are not comfortable with the shipping delay prior to processing, the order can be cancelled and we will attempt to work with you to find an alternative item. Once you have verified your order and they are confirmed and processed, the order may be non-cancellable and non-refundable except for special circumstance.

If your order contains both in stock and backordered items, your order will be kept in our system and we will ship the order as soon as all items become available. In many cases, at the discretion of DSG Performance, in order to expedite delivery for our customers DSG Performance will opt to ship available in stock items at the time your order is placed and any backordered items will be shipped when they become available. In the case that this requires any additional shipping charges, you will be contacted by one of our customer services representatives to offer you the best options available to you for delivery and allow you to choose to wait, or split ship the order.

TRACKING INFORMATION

While DSG Performance strives to work as fast as possible to provide tracking information to you, please allow up to 48 hours for it to become available in your customer account from the time your order ships. Orders received after 3:00 PM EST and for orders received on Saturday, Sunday or any major holiday that contain in-stock items will ship the following possible business day.

LOST SHIPMENTS

In the rare event that your order has been confirmed to have shipped but has not been delivered for an excessive amount of time, has not had any status updates on the tracking by the carrier or has been confirmed as lost or damaged in transit - please notify one of our customer service representatives immediately so that we may assist you right away. There are specific steps that must be taken by our staff in order to facilitate a replacement item, of which may be time sensitive due to carrier regulations. When a package is expected to be lost in transit, a trace must be opened with the carrier to attempt to find and retrieve the missing shipment. A trace can take anywhere between 5-10 business days to complete, but usually is resolved within the 2-3 day mark. In the event a carrier is unable to locate the package, it will be deemed lost in transit and an insurance claim for replacement will be filed with the carrier.


DAMAGED ITEMS ON DELIVERY

DSG Performance takes painstaking effort to utilize only reputable shipping carriers and that packages are well packed, however unfortunately while rare damage in transit can occur. In the unfortunate and rare incident that your order arrives with damage, please contact us immediately. While all shipping carriers have their own restrictions on how long of a window we have to file a damage claim. Concealed damage is when a box may look to be in good shape from the outside, however the item inside was damaged none the less. For this reason due to the sensitive nature of these situations we require that all packages are inspected by the receiver within 24-48 hours of receipt and ideally, right away. It is the receivers full responsibility to notify us of any damaged goods, concealed or apparent within the allotted 24-48 hour period or carrier claims may be rendered null and void. 

We understand that sometimes you may not intend to install a part ordered for some time, say for example you have a installation appointment in a few weeks from the delivery date. To best serve you and ensure that you do not have any unexpected surprises at the date of your install, please do make sure to inspect your packages on arrival. 

Should the box have evident external damage on receipt, it is imperative that you inform the carrier agent at the point of delivery to help facilitate any possible claims as well as by signing as "damaged" on the signature confirmation instead of or next to your name.

DSG Performance is under no circumstance responsible or liable for carrier claims, however we will work with you to rectify your situation. In the event that we require photos, documents or otherwise to support your claim it is your sole responsibility to provide them to us in the required time.

STEPS TO TAKE IN THE EVENT A PRODUCT ARRIVES DAMAGED.

  • KEEP ALL BOXING & PACKING MATERIALS
    • Do not discard any boxes or packing materials. Keep all materials received with your shipment.

  • PHOTO DOCUMENTATION
    • Take detailed photos of all order contents and exterior packaging. Do not just take close ups of the actual damage. 

  • RECEIVING A DAMAGED BOX
    • Should a box have evident exterior damage, take photos prior to opening the box and inform the delivery agent upon receipt of your order.

  • GET IN TOUCH WITH US
    • Prior to contacting us, please write down a quick explanation of the product damage to be used as both evidence and ensure the correct information is put on file. The best method to contact us for any shipping issues is by email at support@dsgperformance.com and provide the above information for evidence.

 

Please do not discard any boxes or packaging materials that were included with the shipment. All original products and packaging materials must be provided in order to fully process a damage claim. DSG Performance must be notified of any damage within 24 hours of receiving your package or you risk having your claim denied by the shipper.

DSG Performance is under no circumstance liable for carrier claims that are denied due to customer negligence.
