aFe's been in the performance game for some time and since DSG picked up the new Civic Type R FK8, we've been keeping a close eye on them. They've since released a few fantastic FK8 products and they're now up and ready for shopping!
We've got to say, 2 of our favourite parts have to be the Takeda Catback Exhaust and Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake System. We love the craftsmanship and work that has gone into these parts and it really shows.
Let's start with the Takeda Catback Exhaust. This stainless steel beast boasts some impressive stats with gains of 19+HP and 20+lb-ft of torque. The tone resonated out of the dual free flowing mufflers and center open pipe is smooth but aggressive. Then there's always our favourite part, it comes chalk full of options. You can choose between carbon, polished, black and blue flame tips. Talk about personalization!
That brings us to the Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake. It's unique one piece housing made from black cross-linked polyethylene eliminates the use of multiple components and guarantees the coolest air intake charge possible. Again, it boasts some impressive numbers with gain of 14+HP and 16+lb-ft of torque. (On the Dyno) One of our favourite parts? Installation is a breeze with all the hardware you need included and no need for cutting or drilling.
