About 29 years ago, engineer and sports car racer John Moore started making brakes for Audi's Group B Quattro Rally Cars. Fast forward to 2013, Alcon now has an HQ in Tamworth, UK and has over 80 people working for them. If you're looking for some serious braking power, Alcon has always been a very serious option. For that reason, we've added the brand to our line up for the GTR, EVO X and BRZ/FR-S.
When it comes to the GTR, Nissan has developed the notorious reputation for continuously improving on the R35 platform, constantly increasing it's performance and making it faster and faster. Well it seems that Nissan has no plans on discontinuing that trend since their upcoming NISMO GTR is dubbed to be the fastest R35 ever made!
This week on Recently Released, we've got some carbon fiber goodness from one of the masters in the game, Password:JDM. They've just come out with their new Dry Carbon Fiber Canards for the BRZ. They've previously released canards for the FR-S, so these will complete the collection.
Oh happy day, it's Friday once again! We've got another 5 awesome videos for you so let's get the show on the road.
Out of so many mods, bolting on a strut bar is one of my favorite upgrades to do. There's a noticeable difference, installation is cake and even a fantastic one won't run you enough to empty your wallet. Cusco has just released one sexy looking Strut Tower bar for the BRZ/FR-S. Other than the awesome craftsmanship, quality aluminum and great design, getting this strut bar also means you'll be rocking some carbon fiber in that engine bay. If you've got the Password:JDM carbon fiber engine upgrade kit for example, this would be a very theme fitting addition!
Happy Friday ladies and gents and welcome to another edition of the TGIF Video Party! Fridays are a time where we put together 5 of the best videos for you to kick back to before the fun begins. This week, we've got some great ones for you and we can't wait for you to see them so let's get started!
So, there isn't much information on this yet but we wanted to share it with you as soon as we heard about it. Synapse Engineering, infamous for their Synchronic BOV (which we've had the privilege of carrying for the past few years) will soon be launching their very own boost gauge line. Now, this is pretty exciting news and I'll tell you why. Synapse are experts at forced induction, most of their parts revolve around it and they've acquired killer skills so it'll likely be one awesome gauge.
In order to totally appreciate this post, you've got to know what the Dragon's Tail is. So for those of you who don't know, here's a quick explanation for you. The Dragon as it is also known, is a portion of the US129 that features 318 curves in 11 miles. (essentially, a driver's dream) The famous portion of road begins just beyond Punkin Center where US129 and state road 72 meet, the Dragon winds its way through a portion of the east Tennessee mountains and ends at the TN/NC state line.
